Illinois Imagines

 

Illinois Imagines is a statewide project to improve services to

women with disabilities who have been victims of sexual

violence. The project is directed by the Illinois Department of

Human Services, Illinois rape crisis centers, disability service

agencies and self-advocates. Collaborative teams have been

established in 30 communities across the state.

Illinois Imagines will host five regional trainings for self-advocates and allies to learn how to utilize the Guide to Starting Empowerment Groups that was released in January. The trainings will take place at the following dates:

  • March 12 - Chicago
  • March 13 - Rockford
  • March 25 - Macomb
  • March 26 - Savoy
  • March 27 - Centralia
